Bespoke Jewellery, Made for You
Some pieces of jewellery begin with a stone. Others begin with a memory, a symbol, a treasured piece of sea glass or simply an idea you’d love to bring to life.
I create one-of-a-kind bespoke jewellery in sterling silver and 9ct gold from my studio in Astwood Bank, Worcestershire, using traditional silversmithing techniques and making each piece individually by hand.
Whether you already know exactly what you would like or just have the beginnings of an idea, we can work together to create something that feels completely personal to you.
Personal stories, thoughtfully made
Every bespoke commission develops gradually — from initial sketches and ideas through to shaping, soldering, setting and finishing at the bench.
These in-progress moments are all part of the story of the finished piece, allowing the design to evolve naturally as it is made by hand.
Created with meaning
A bespoke commission can be inspired by almost anything — a special person, a meaningful symbol, a favourite gemstone, a treasured object or sea glass collected somewhere memorable.
The design develops around the story behind the piece, while still allowing the character of the materials to guide the finished jewellery.
Nothing is cast or mass-produced. Each commission is designed, sawn, formed, textured, soldered, set and finished individually by hand.
Previous Bespoke Commissions:
A Piece of Symbolism
A statement sterling silver necklace created as a special gift for a deeply spiritual lady, the ‘Luminara’ is centred around a moonstone cabochon and incorporates seven removable gemstone charms representing the seven chakras.
The design draws on the ‘Rising Woman’ symbol and brings together several moveable and meaningful elements within one piece. Finished with Amazonite beads, it was created to be as personal in meaning as it is individual in design.
Inspired by the Ocean
The ‘Lunar’ pendant was designed around the movement and texture of the sea. Blue gemstones and luminous pearl cabochons bring in the colours of water and light, while the suspended droplet-shaped elements move independently, giving the piece a soft sense of flow.
The pierced silver detail was inspired by the organic forms of coral, adding another layer of texture and creating a piece that feels fluid, tactile and full of movement.
Designed around a Special Stone
The ‘Cove’ sea glass bangle was inspired by a much-loved bracelet that had three family sapphires incorporated into it and that had been lost.
I allowed the natural colours and shapes of the three individual pieces of blue sea glass to remain at the heart of this texturised hand-formed silver bangle I created, producing a design that was reminiscent of the lost bracelet but unique in its own right.
Memories from the Shore
A handful of sea glass can hold memories of a particular beach, holiday or moment in time. This ‘Maris’ pendant was designed for a lady who loves to sail using her own pieces of collected sea glass.
I turned those ocean-worn fragments into a piece that tells its own story, a one-of-a-kind silver and sea glass yacht.
Your own sea glass or sentimental stones can be incorporated into a design in the same way.
How a Bespoke Commission Works
We begin with a conversation.
You can send photographs of your sea glass, gemstones, sentimental pieces or inspiration, along with any ideas you already have. If you’re not sure what you want yet, that’s absolutely fine — I can help develop the design with you.
Once we’ve agreed the overall direction, materials and budget, I’ll create the piece by hand in my Worcestershire studio.
From Idea to Finished Piece
Because every commission is different, timescales and prices vary depending on the design, materials and complexity. I’ll discuss these with you before work begins.
Your Story, Made to Last
Bespoke jewellery is about creating something that could only belong to you — whether that means preserving a memory, celebrating someone special or simply owning a piece designed entirely around what you love.
If you have an idea, a treasured stone or a piece of sea glass waiting to become something more, I’d love to hear about it.
